The originating
site for a videoconference is called the host site.
The receiving
sites are the other locations you are connecting with during the
videoconference.
All sites
are responsible for making sure the rooms are ready for an event.
The event
facilitator is any person wishing to conduct a class, seminar,
meeting or other activity. This person is also responsible for
contacting attending participants at all locations with meeting
details.
The site
coordinator at each location coordinates the room schedule and
all local details. The site coordinator provides the link between
the local video facility and all other sites on the network.
The technical
coordinator works in cooperation with the site coordinator to
provide technical support in the classroom. A room technician
may be provided at some locations if requested or needed. This
person is responsible for making sure the equipment is up and
running during the event.
