Wimba Voice Tools

Wimba Voice web-based voice tools facilitate and promote vocal instruction, collaboration, coaching, and assessment. Increase the interaction and student engagement level of any online class by allowing faculty and students to easily embed vocal interactions into the page level of their CMS.

Voice Tool	Description
Voice Board	A threaded voice discussion board that allows both instructor and student to post vocal messages along with accompanying text.
Voice Email	An enhanced e-mail application with a vocal element.
Voice Recorder	An easy to use standard, voice recorder that can be embedded directly into the course homepage.
Voice Presentation	A presentation tool that allows you to add web content alongside audio messages.
Wimba Podcaster	A one-click podcasting tool that allows you to record audio files for students to download to their iPods.

These Voice Tools are integrated within Blackboard or WebCT Vista: Voice Board, Voice Direct, Voice E-mal and Voice Recorder. Voice Presentation and Wimba Podcaster are tools available externally outside of either Blackboard or WebCT. You can then embed them within your class.
